Wider opening on 1st June important information

The school is open to the children of Key Workers and children who are deemed to be vulnerable or with special educational needs.

In the short-term and under the current government guidance on social distancing and the number of children allowed in each bubble

we will not be able to open the school to more children.

What can I bring to school?

Children need a water bottle, sun hat and coat, hand moisturiser is recommended due to frequent hand washing. Children will need sun cream applying at home as this cannot be applied by staff in school.  Children in Nursery and Reception who may need a change of clothes can send a bag into school on the first day that they return. This will need to stay in school unless the change of clothes are needed. If you are sending in a packed lunch please ensure it is in a washable, plastic container rather than a cloth type lunch bag.

Please do not bring book bags, ruck sacks or toys.

What do I need to wear for school?

Uniform is not required.

Children need to wear clean, freshly washed clothes every day. Please ensure these are appropriate for inside and outside learning. When returning home all clothes worn at school must be washed.

How will I get into school?

Nursery children will need to enter school through the middle gate. 2m markers are along the metal fence at the front of school.

Reception children will need to enter school through the end gate. 2m markers are along the metal fence at the front of school.

Year 1 children will need to enter school through the middle gate. 2m markers are along the metal fence at the front of school.

Year 2 children will need to enter school though the main entrance. 2m markers are along the edge of the school drive if you need to wait.

Children in Nursery, Reception and Year 1 children will say good bye to the adult who brings them at the outside gate and walk to their school adult at the inside gate. Year 2 children enter through the main front door going up the ramp with the adult going down the steps and out of school through the foot gate.

If your child is struggling to leave the adult who brings them move to the back of the line and have one more try. Unfortunately school staff are unable to take the children from you if they are unwilling to come into school and you will be required to take them home.
