In agreement with our own self evaluation, we are delighted to inform you that the school has received an overall rating of 'Good in all areas' from Ofsted.
This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of our entire school community—children, staff, and parents alike.
We understand that not receiving an 'Outstanding' rating may be disappointing for some. However, achieving a 'Good in all areas' rating in the current educational landscape is a commendable accomplishment. We are grateful for the dedication and hard work of our entire school community, and we will always remain committed to keeping your children safe and providing the best possible education for your children.
There are many highlights to the report. I am delighted that it recognises ‘the kind and respectful ethos’. The prioritising of reading and our children’s accomplishments in phonics. The quality of SEND provision is highly praised, matched by the opportunities we provide for all children. The fact that we have high expectations for our children and that they ‘rise to these expectations’ is a line I am very proud of.
While we celebrate these achievements, we also acknowledge areas for development. Ofsted has suggested that our monitoring of some subjects needs further improvement. Rest assured, we have already begun addressing this feedback and are committed to enhancing the monitoring processes to ensure continuous improvement.
May I also thank you for taking the time to share such kind and helpful comments with the inspectors. The comment in the report reflected these and the many others that were shared with us during the visit; hearing them gave us all such a boost at a very challenging time. At times, there was not a dry eye in the house!
