I have worked in education for nearly 25 years, beginning my career in early years in
2002. I am a qualified teacher and currently work at Lincoln Bishop University,
formally Bishop Grosseteste, where I am Dean for Academic Partnerships and
Apprenticeships. Much of my work focuses on helping adults grow in confidence,
develop new skills, and realise their potential, and I am passionate about the positive
impact lifelong learning can have on individuals and communities.
As a Nettleham village resident and parent with a child at the school, I value the
strong sense of community that surrounds it. I have a particular interest in curriculum
development and in ensuring that learning experiences are meaningful, inclusive,
and ambitious for all pupils. I am pleased to serve as a Parent Trustee and look
forward to contributing my experience and perspective to support the school’s
continued success.
