Topic Work: Personal, Social and Emotional Development focus: Re-read the story, pausing to talk about how the creatures in the story might feel at certain points. What does it mean to be a good friend? Why is it important to share? How could you be a good friend to someone at the moment?
Your child might like to write down the ways they can be a good friend, or what makes a good friend or they may like to do something for a friend.

Please access Tapestry to listen to the book "Ten Black Dots."
Topic Work: Story sequencing: Can you sequence the events in the story using pictures. There are some available to download on tapestry if you would like to use those. Encourage your child to retell the story in sequence using language from the text.

Topic Work: Art Focus: Can you create your own rainbow fish. There are some picture ideas below. You could make a collage rainbow fish using different colours and textures, you could paint a rainbow fish (celery works really well for stamping scales), if you have an old CD you could use this to make a fish, or perhaps use play dough to design a rainbow fish.
