Welcome to Reception at Nettleham Infant and Nursery School

Hello and welcome to Reception. We are delighted that your child will be joining our school in September and we look forward to a long, happy and productive partnership between children, parents and staff.

On this page you will find information about Reception at Nettleham Infant and Nursery, as well as updates on transition and classes for September. Although we may have to make some adjustments to our usual transition plans, we will do our upmost to ensure that children have a smooth and enjoyable transition into school.

Key Dates 2024

• New Starters Meeting- Tuesday 14th May 2024 14:00-15:00 (parents/carers only) 
• Stay and Play Sessions- Thursday 16th May 2024 15:30-16:30 or Wednesday 22nd May 2024 15:30-16:30 (parents/carers and pupils)
• National Move Up Morning- Tuesday 2nd July 09:30-11:30 (pupils only)
• Staggered Starts-children begin school for half days- Wednesday 4th September 2024 (letter to be shared directly with parents/carers to confirm session times) 
• Children start full time- Monday 9th September 2024 8.45-3.15pm
