Dr Nicola Porter-Parent Governor
I became a Parent Governor in 2019 when my older son was in Year 1; my younger son attended the school Nursery and is now in Reception. My role is not to represent the views of any specific parent at the school, but to consider Governance decisions from the parents' point of view and advise accordingly. I live in the village and also work locally as a GP, which I believe gives me a rounded view of the community in which the school operates as well as an understanding of the wide range of challenges facing families. I enjoy seeing how the school works behind the scenes and working with all staff to ensure that our school provides the best experience for all our children.
