Judy Shaw-Community Governor
My name is Judy Shaw. I have been appointed as a community governor. I look forward to being able to support the school, children, parents and staff as I undertake this role. I am a self-supporting priest in the Church of England and the associate priest at All Saints Church here in Nettleham. I took early retirement from Mount Street Academy last year to be able to work in the parish of Nettleham and Riseholme. I have worked with children all my life and have a special interest in childhood grief and loss. I have a BA in Early Childhood studies and Education, trained with the St Barnabas hospice to support children and adults in their bereavement, and studied part time with Lincoln School of Theology for ministry. Nettleham is a busy parish but I enjoy spending time with my family, sewing, painting and walking. Favourite holidays are spent on the Isle of Skye and Holy Island.
